Why do you need to verify my prescription?

Verifying contact lens prescriptions is done to maintain our customers’ eye health, and comply with the Fairness to Contact Lens Consumers Act. The law requires that optometrists and ophthalmologists give patients a copy of their prescriptions after a fitting. Those prescriptions must also be verified to any third party designated by the patient, like an online lens seller. This ensures that patients are receiving products with current, valid prescriptions.
